For the gothic Santa Clara Church, Marina Núñez has designed an installation-altarpiece on a side wall that still preserves the traces of an old baroque altarpiece. On the central niche, the video Flores heroicas/Lirios (Heroic flowers/Lilies, 2021) is projected, which evokes the epic battles of classical paintings, but featuring flowers fighting against each other and withstanding life's onslaughts. This work is also a tribute to the women of the past, who could not paint heroic scenes and were relegated to minor genres, such as flower painting. Around the latter is Soñar o que te sueñen (Dreaming or being dreamed, 2025), a piece that covers the fourteen niches of the altarpiece.
