The work of British-Spanish artist and filmmaker Isabel Rocamora (1968, Barcelona, Spain) is placed at the intersection between contemporary art and cinema. Her creation methodology employs the human gesture to question the link that binds us to land and history in legacies of trauma. Rocamora starts from the problems of our contemporary time to explore issues such as feminine identity, the military conflict, and ethnic and religious segregation.
