Tobias Rehberger (1966, Esslingen, Germany) proposes a continuous reflection on the boundaries between art and design by challenging traditional conceptions of both fields. His work lies in a space of confluence where sculpture, architecture and functionality intertwine to generate hybrid situations that invite viewers to question the aesthetic value of everyday objects and to reconsider their usefulness. Rehberger does not limit himself to a simple formal action around an object, as he understands the environment as a territory in constant change that transforms the way the work of art is perceived.
