Diana Larrea

Diana Larrea (1972, Madrid, Spain) addresses social issues from a critical perspective. Her work, including installations, videos, drawings and photographs, explores the conflicts shaping contemporary society. Throughout her career, she has been in constant dialogue with the social conflicts and dynamics that shape our society, a common thread present in all of her creation. With each piece, Larrea not only offers a critical vision of reality, but also invites viewers to question the dominant structures and values in the global context. Through her works, the artist explores themes such as inequalities, historical memory, identity and power, addressed with a strong conceptual load and an aesthetic sensibility which allows viewers to become deeply immersed in them. Her work is not limited to criticism; it also generates a space for reflection and change in social perception.
