Guided tours of the Pontevedra Biennial

The guided tours, led by specialists, are the perfect opportunity to discover the contents and spaces of this year’s Biennial.

There will be visits for individuals on Thursday afternoons, Saturday mornings and afternoons, and Sundays, with themed tours of different exhibition spaces.

Thursdays (from 10 July to 25 September)  6 pm.

Guided tour of the Biennial in the Castelao and Sarmiento buildings.

Sundays (from 13 July to 28 September) 12 pm.

  • Limited to 20 people per visit 
  • Prior registration by email to reservas.museo@depo.es, from Monday to Friday, from 8 am to 2 pm (specifying the day of the visit, name, number of people, place of origin and contact number)
  • Meeting point: reception desk of the Castelao Building, Museum of Pontevedra

Saturdays (from 12 July to 27 September) 

The tours will be organised alternating the timetable of each zone every weekend, starting on Saturday 12 July in Zone 1, at 11 am, and Zone 2, at 7 pm. The following Saturday the order will be reversed. Thus, participants will be able to visit the two zones at the time that suits them best.
*11 am. Zone 1: ‘Hope in the Dark’ 

  • Visit to the following exhibition spaces: Castelao Building, Sarmiento Building, Santa Clara Church, Manuel Moldes Foundation and Café Moderno
  • Duration: 2 h 15 min. (with a 15-min. break)
  • Meeting point: Castelao Building, Museum of Pontevedra

*6 pm. Zone 2: ‘Possible Futures’

  • Visit to the following exhibition spaces: Ruins of San Domingos, Pazo Provincial, Faculty of Fine Arts, Casa da Luz, RAC Foundation, Santiago Bridge and Pazo da Cultura
  • Duration: 2 h 20 min. (with a 15-min. break)
  • Meeting point: Ruins of San Domingos
