Bienal de Pontevedra

In this meeting, the artist Almudena Fernández Fariña talks with the curator Antón Castro about Flor de 6 pétalos(Flower with six petals), her intervention located in the inner courtyard of the Castelao Building.

The work is based on the ancestral symbol of the six-petal flower, found in the original tympanum of San Martiño Church, to weave a dialogue between past and present. In a time marked by ecological crises, wars and loss of meaning, the artist encourages us to reflect on human fragility and the possibility of finding hope.
